the concept

A custom design begins with sitting down with a customer and determining their idea for a custom piece of jewelry. Some customers have a very clear idea of what they want. Other customers are assisted in this process by me showing them design books and drawing ideas. All elements of the piece are discussed in detail. These can include stone choices, metal types, textures and finishes, and lifestyles that could affect the wear of the piece. After all of these elements are agreed upon, the wax model is then carved.
